Link would awaken in an odd city, filled with people that looked nothing like him. Adults and children, all human, in modern earth clothes, coming and going and standing and chatting, for the most part not seeming to have noticed him at all.
The area he was in was rather large, but had to one side a statue of a dog looking out over the crowd like a guardian from its plinth.
Two people would probably stand out to him among the crowd, mostly... because they weren't. One was a young woman with bright blue hair and clothes that looked nothing like what anyone else was wearing. A skin tight bodysuit with a cross of straps over the chest ending in an emblem, and a partial skirt, and really REALLY odd boots and what looked like a single piece of armor on one arm. She was standing all the way across the crowd from him, looking at some odd graffiti on a wall, frowning at it.
The other... it was kind of hard to say why the boy stood out. He could have fit into the crowd easily, wearing a white button down shirt, untucked, over dark jeans. Even his white hair could have been mistaken for super pale blond, with him leaned against the bronze statue and all. But Link;s instincts are good enough to have him notice this guy. Also, where other people are walking right past Link so close he would have to jump aside, seeming not to see him... this guy, looking about 17... seemed to see him,
Infact, he pushed off of the statue and sauntered his way through the crowd, heading for Link. The people didn't seem to notice him anymore than they noticed Link, and he walked in a perfectly straight line without wavering or even varying his speed, and yet... not a single collision.
One hand left his jeans pocket to wave as he got close. "Well well well, you certainly look interesting," he said with a bit of a laugh. "But I'm guessing no one's given you the spiel yet?" A sigh and a shake of his head. "Looks like it's up to me to pitch in then..."
