Link would awaken in an odd city, filled with people that looked nothing like him. Adults and children, all human, in modern earth clothes, coming and going and standing and chatting, for the most part not seeming to have noticed him at all.

The area he was in was rather large, but had to one side a statue of a dog looking out over the crowd like a guardian from its plinth.

Two people would probably stand out to him among the crowd, mostly... because they weren't. One was a young woman with bright blue hair and clothes that looked nothing like what anyone else was wearing. A skin tight bodysuit with a cross of straps over the chest ending in an emblem, and a partial skirt, and really REALLY odd boots and what looked like a single piece of armor on one arm. She was standing all the way across the crowd from him, looking at some odd graffiti on a wall, frowning at it.

The other... it was kind of hard to say why the boy stood out. He could have fit into the crowd easily, wearing a white button down shirt, untucked, over dark jeans. Even his white hair could have been mistaken for super pale blond, with him leaned against the bronze statue and all. But Link;s instincts are good enough to have him notice this guy. Also, where other people are walking right past Link so close he would have to jump aside, seeming not to see him... this guy, looking about 17... seemed to see him,

Infact, he pushed off of the statue and sauntered his way through the crowd, heading for Link. The people didn't seem to notice him anymore than they noticed Link, and he walked in a perfectly straight line without wavering or even varying his speed, and yet... not a single collision.

One hand left his jeans pocket to wave as he got close. "Well well well, you certainly look interesting," he said with a bit of a laugh. "But I'm guessing no one's given you the spiel yet?" A sigh and a shake of his head. "Looks like it's up to me to pitch in then..."

18+? Yep
Other Characters: Xion and V are already in game.

Character

Name:Sho Minamimoto
Canon: TWEWY
Canon point: Week 3, day 7, right before fighting Yoshua.
Age: 18.

History:
An amazingly good timeline!

Personality:

Ambition: Sho Minamimoto is 18, and not only is he already a reaper, he is already a Game Master and has been actively working towards his ambition of becoming the Composer. Rules... Well, the only rules he really follows are the mathematical ones (more on that later) and he is willing to bend, break, or outright ignore any other rule that gets in the way of his ambition. The way to become the Composer is to kill the Composer. So when he finds out the Composer has limited his power to visit the RG (real Ground - the world of the living) He does the same to try and shoot him unawares. The Week he is Game Master he was supposed to set missions every day, but once he got his hands on a power strong enough to give him a chance against the Composer, he stopped giving missions to focus on that. Even when he is no longer Game Master he goes after the Composer, trying to catch him weakened and distracted from his time as a Player.

Math Seriously, this actually gets its own section. Minamimoto talks in math terms, makes math jokes, gives game missions as math equations, his hitpoints are the numbers in pi, for crying out loud. One of his main nicknames is Pi-Face. He especially loves using math to be insulting. He tells the "players" in his week that he will let them carry one yoctogram of weight in the UG, (the reply to that being "Nice. That puts us on the atomic level?") And calling players Factoring Hectopascals (Quoting from the wiki: "Pascal is a SI unit for pressure and thus, cannot be factored. Literally, he's claiming that the Players are an impossibility." ) So yeah... Pi-face and math are kind of a matched set. You need both to balance the equation of the game's rather unbalanced Game Master. (Well, for Week Two, anyhow.)

Art Sho's other nick name is the Grim Heaper for his being a reaper, and for his art. If you can call it art. Most people call it large towering piles of junk. But there is always a logic to the piles, because surprisingly... they never fall down. We do see him half buried under one right post canon point, but that is left to the player's imagination as to how that happened, and I chalk it up to the Composer thinking he is being funny. After all, if it had fallen on Sho, it would have not all still been neatly stacked.

Minamimoto looks for things to add to his art everywhere, and so you will see cars and street signs and the like in the pile. Vending machines too. These are seriously tall trash heaps, with shockingly narrow bases. He likes to perch atop them, and again - they do not fall over!

Though scavenging for materials gives us one rather odd scene... He steals a microphone on a stand for one of his art heaps... but as it clearly belongs to a specific person... he leaves his signature megaphone behind, as if in trade. An odd moment that to me, tells me a lot about how much his art means to him, given the constant presence of the megaphone before that point when he showed up. Also, it is unclear if he knew that the mike belonged to another Reaper, so it is hard to tell if that was a factor (pun intended) in his choosing to trade rather than steal. Even if the other Reaper had say in the "trade".

-1 life. The other part of why he is called the Grim Heaper is because it is a play on Grim Reaper. Sho, like pretty much everyone else in The World Ends With You died, presumably a violent death, and wound up as a Player in the Underground (UG) in a game for the survival of the physical manifestation of his soul. While it is not stated as fact that he won his game, looking to his ambition and creativity, I am willing to say it is at least likely. We know that to become a Reaper, you have to play the game, but it is not actually a requirement that you win it. Just that you play. And to play, you must be dead.

So Sho has all sorts of interesting abilities he has had since he died, as well as being one of the few Reapers who actually can and does go to the RG after death to act there. Again, not big on the rules. But yes, he is dead, and will presume everyone else is as well, at first. Learning that the living can see him might be almost as much of a shock as losing his powers, though whichever realization happens first might prepare him for the other.

Does Not Play Well With Others. When he is a Game Master, he has the power to give orders to all Harriers and Support Reapers. But for the most part... he doesn't. He chooses to do things on his own, rather than take the help he actually is ALLOWED and ENCOURAGED to utilize. Given his ambition, this does not seem to be strategic, rather it seems to be a huge weakness. If he had properly utilized his harriers, he might have had a shot at Erasing Neku at the least.

Always Keep In Mind:
Math. Math. Math. I have been keeping open a tab of math phrases he constantly uses.

When in doubt SCREAM IT OUT. He screams. A lot. Often with a Megaphone. At the person right in front of him.

CRUNCH! Add it to the heap. I need to watch for things he can use in his art.

Life is Garbage - So very much to unpack there, and so very often it can, and should, come up.

Questions: Write an IC answer to the following questions:

What do you want to study at Diatu Magicademy?
"Given that you factoring hectopascals probably are knowledge math < My knowledge math, not that. Seriously, your textbooks are all GARBAGE! CRUNCH! Add them to the heap. But this magic stuff? If that can + to my ability to drop the freaking moon? Yeah, count me in."

If you knew you could go back to the moment you left, would you leave immediately or continue your studies for a while?

"Well Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally. What kind of garbage question is this?"

If your enemy was at Diatu Magicademy, how would you react?

"CRUNCH! Add him to the heap!"

When is it acceptable to resolve a dispute by force?

"Answer = Always. Best way to FOIL your foes."

What should the supreme goal of any wizard be?

"(P = W / T)-T + Now." (Power equals Work over Time Minus Time plus Now. Aka, he wants power and he is impatient.)

Special Considerations

Your Special Something: Either a reaper/Noise themed familiar (if allowable?) or an item of power.

Rank Your House Choice: Dealer's choice.

Powers: Creating Noise. Creating Taboo Noise. Transformations. Being unable to be erased through non-magical means. Moving between the RG and the UG.

(Also not a power he has in canon but one he is actively working towards there and will keep working towards in game is the power of the Composer. A Composer is the highest ranking Reaper (and sort of an Angel...? It's confusing.) who has ultimate power over the UG.)

Items: His megaphone.

Anything Else: I would like to know the state of his wings, given I do not know if manifesting them counts as a power or not.... Thank you.
